Can we expect more buyers in Australia’s property market?
Every year, many Chinese tourists visit Australia. So much so that, according to a survey conducted on Juwai, many are even considering buying property in Australia. Hence, we can expect to see more activity from Chinese buyers within our property market. This is especially true for our capital cities: Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
But this won’t happen now. Many will most likely wait until property prices stabilise before entering our market.
With the Australia Dollar falling against the Chinese Yuan, a slight reduction in Australia’s foreign buyer taxes, and the recent prediction of an increase in our property prices, it’s no wonder foreign interest in our property market is growing!
